I felt like the week was never going to end. Now that the weekend’s here, we should enjoy it. Here are a few random things I came across this week and would like to share.
This Lenka song popped up on my playlist, and I can’t stop listening to it. I feel like it sums up your twenties pretty well.
I’ve been thinking about Flowers for Algernon lately. It reminds us that science is great, but inevitably has its boundaries and is one of my all-time favorite books.
The pressures that women face daily are not just harming their self esteem but also has consequences on the future.
If this week has gotten you down, I recommend writing a reverse bucket list.
If you’re like me and love a good sci-fi movie with a team of badass women, here’s one that might interest you.
Speaking of amazing ladies, check out this video of Peruvian beauty pageant contestants stating facts about female violence instead of their measurements.
When life gets busy, we tend to accidentally separate and disconnect from people whether it’s because of distance or lack of effort. This weekend, we challenge you to make an effort and reach out to someone you haven’t talked to in a while. It doesn’t have to be anything extravagant, but show that person that you still think about them and want to know how they are doing.
If you have anything interesting to share, please do so in the comments below. We love to hear from you!
